Colie Dooley
Chief Executive Officer
Founder
In 2019, Colie L Dooley launched Green Hybrid Habitat as a legacy project with the promise of “Giving Back.” Based in Wilmington, NC, Colie and his team incorporate all aspects of the real estate process for the benefit of every potential homebuyer. Colie is driven by passion and purpose, having spent nearly fifty years mastering the art of developing, designing, building, and selling residential real estate.
Colie entered the residential real estate market as a sales associate at the age of twenty-seven. Over the next decade, he acquired his NC Real Estate Broker’s License, NC Building Contractors License, and the prestigious Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from UNC-Chapel Hill. He set his goals on becoming one of the most knowledgeable realtors in the Carolinas. Through hard work, determination, imagination and innovation, Colie achieved abundant success and prosperity as a ‘niche’ builder by implementing revolutionary and unconventional building methods, designs and techniques other local builders soon adopted.
Throughout his career, Colie would build approximately 400 custom homes with one-quarter of the homes being modular construction. With his extensive knowledge, skills and experience in the construction industry, Colie learned many invaluable lessons during those years. There would be several factors that influenced him to consider redefining the residential market and formulating a strategy to transform the building industry.
Tres Dooley
Born: October 11, 1968 – Heaven Bound: December 12, 2014
Tres was born in Charleston, SC and moved to Wilmington, NC at the age of 3. He graduated from Laney high school then moved to Seattle, WA where he received his degree as a professional diver from the Diver Institute. He moved back to Wilmington, NC and attended Cape Fear Community College where he received a degree in Marine Biology.
At the age of 23, his father Colie Dooley, “drafted” Tres into the family building business. As with everything in life, he exceled at everything he did. He passed the SC Residential Builder License the first time and was his father’s right hand man in building thriving businesses. His motto, which was on the back of his business cards was, “We do the job right even when no one is looking”.
Tres suffered a “widow maker” heart attack at the age of 43 and survived. Three and half years later, on the evening of December 12, 2014 , he suffered another and was taken from this earth.

Pastor Tom Gore
Pay It Forward Administrator
Having had the honor of serving God through churches, church plants and state conventions in New England, North, and South Carolina, Tom is blessed to be able to serve with Green Hybrid Habitats. Born in Camden, S.C., and educated at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., and Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C., Tom resides in Little River, S.C. with his wife, Michele, of 27 years. Tom currently serves with the South Carolina Baptist Convention on the Church Planting Team. He considers it a joy to be Dooley’s pastor and friend.
Tom and Michele have been able to call Colie and Frances friends for the past 10 years. A wonderful relationship that began at River of Life Baptist Church in Sunset Beach, N.C. where the theme verse is Psalm 84: 11, ‘For the Lord God is a sun and shield, the Lord gives grace and glory, he does not withhold the good from those that walk with integrity.’ We believe that church is not somewhere you go, but rather the church is the body of Christ that sacrificially serves others in the name of Jesus. Our motto is ‘Don’t just go to church, be the church.
Under the skillful and humble leadership of President Alicia Zimmerman and CEO Colie Dooley, a Pay It Forward Program has been established to assist local ministries. Twenty percent of GHH's net profit will be donated to organizations and ministries to prosper the beautiful name of Jesus. Managing GHH’s Pay It Forward Program is a task that Pastor Tom is excited to lead.
In Luke 8, the seed is the Word of God that bears much fruit. GHH believes that as a Christian-born company, we will bear much fruit in the name of Jesus. By utilizing twenty percent of the net profits, we plan on sowing many seeds with various organizations for the Glory of God.
